The base engine is a 4-cylinder one with 2.5-liter capacity and with an electric motor to produce 191 hp with CVT. You have the option to choose a non-hybrid engine, in which case you will get a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder 250 hp with 8-speed automatic transmission.
The towing capacity of the Maverick is 2000 pounds and the payload is 1500 pounds. If you opt for the Towing Package, then you can extend the towing capacity of the 4-cylinder car to 4,000 pounds.

When it comes to fuel economy, the hybrid variant offers 42 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The non-hybrid does 30 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city.

The 2023 Ford Maverick is a crew cab and is quite spacious. A number of storage bins and cubbies offers convenience. Many handy features like keyless entry, audio controls on the steering wheel, and lumbar front seat support are available.
